(WTS) Willing To Serve – a gender specific prevention program targeting African-American and Hispanic female youth and adults. Rites of Passage activities, groups for pregnant teens, educational and referral services for mothers, and interim services for those waiting for treatment services are key components of this program.

 

(CTI) Cultural Training Institute – this program targets African-American youth and aims to improve academic performance, prevent alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use and develop/enhance skills to prevent acts of violence and aggression.

 

(ICMI) Inner City Mentoring Initiative – this program utilizes mentors to provide one on one mentoring services to African-American male youth. All youth are assessed for risk across multiple domains and receive individualized program plan based upon their risk assessment.

 

(WTW) Welfare To Work - this program provides peer support services to non custodial parents (male or female) who are unemployed or underemployed; and who are not paying child support. Relationship issues, decision making skills, problem solving, are key areas addressed by this program.

HIV/AIDS - this is a collaborative program with key minority organizations and communities of faith to provide information to the African-American and Hispanic communities regarding the problem of HIV/AIDS in our communities, and ways to prevent it.
